Fine final grain sizes. High efficiency.
Granulators are a key process stage in modern recycling. They are used for the defined shredding of various materials such as plastics, cables, metals, rubber, or composite materials. Rotating cutting tools are used to convert the materials into reproducible grain sizes, thus optimally preparing them for downstream separation and sorting processes.
A clean and defined granulate output increases the efficiency of downstream units such as separation tables, air separators, screening technology, or sensor systems and contributes significantly to the quality of the end product.
Depending on the application, different cutting chamber geometries, rotor types, screening systems, and wear protection variants are available. Modern granulators are characterized by high throughput rates, energy-efficient drives, quick cleaning options, and robust assemblies. In addition, dust extraction and suction systems can be integrated to reduce fine particles and further increase process stability.
